Neiman Marcus Group Change in EDI 852 and Partnership with Edifice Information Management To keep in line with Neiman Marcus Corporate Reporting Policies and to ensure that the sales data that we communicate to our vendors is consistent, single source and approved, Neiman Marcus has re-aligned our EDI Sales and On-Hand communication to our vendors. With this re-alignment, we will be eliminating the current EDI 852 Sales and On-Hand reporting that is sent electronically to our vendors. As of August 2, 2009 sales data to the vendors will be provided in one of the following methods:
We are pleased to announce our partnership with EDIFICE to provide fee based services including point-of-sale reporting and to be the distributor of our EDI 852. As of August 2, 2009 Neiman Marcus will discontinue the direct distribution of the EDI 852. With the partnership between Neiman Marcus and EDIFICE brings the availability of two different fee based options, if your company chooses not to receive the excel formatted weekly sales report from Product Reporting (Internal reporting tool). The two fee based options from EDIFICE will be either receiving the EDI 852 as you do today or a more customized and robust web-accessed metric tool that allows you to filter, sort, drill down and create reports to the SKU/Store level. If you elect to continue receiving the EDI 852 you must have a contract in place with Edifice by July 10, 2009 to ensure no disruption in the delivery of the EDI 852. Edifice will be ready to set vendors up on the Edifice Reports or Edifice 852 as of May 26, 2009. If you are already an Edifice customer, please contact your Edifice account manager to contract for Neiman Marcus data.
