Pre-Ticket Guidelines and Instructions
GENERAL PRE
- A copy
of the Neiman Marcus or Bergdorf Goodman purchase order will be sent with the
price tickets. This PO will assist in matching the tickets received to the
items on the purchase order.
- Please check your tickets immediately upon receipt
for legibility and amount. If there is a ticket shortage, please contact
Vendor Compliance immediately. Also, please check the quality of the print on
your tickets and make sure that you have enough legible tickets to complete
your order. Extra tickets are provided as replacements for tickets that may
become damaged while being placed on the merchandise. Please do not use the
extra price tickets for substitutions or for other purchase orders.
Destroy any extra tickets that are provided, after all
tickets have been attached.
- The price ticket has the Neiman Marcus or Bergdorf
Goodman style number printed on it and must be attached to the correct
merchandise. *Please note that the manufacturer’s style number is not
printed on the ticket. The purchase order document that will be
enclosed with the tickets will aide you in cross-referencing the manufactures
style number with either the Neiman Marcus or Bergdorf Goodman style. The
style, size and color printed on the ticket needs to match the style, size and
color of the merchandise. Please refer to the “How to Read a Neiman Marcus and
Bergdorf Goodman Ticket” if there are any questions regarding how to correctly
read the information printed on the ticket.
- Refer to the ticket fastener’s section to
determine what type of ticket fasteners to use. Each type and description is
listed.
- Refer to the Ticket Placement chart for ticket
placement location. If you do not find the specific merchandise type on the
listing, please contact Vendor Compliance for instructions.
- A Welcome Packet will be mailed along with the
first order of tickets. This packet will have a hard copy of the instruction
sheet, ticket placement standards, ticket fastener’s and “ How to Read A
Ticket”.
