Accuracy Requirement

Our goal at the Neiman Marcus Group is to move your merchandise to our selling floors as quickly as possible

Neiman Marcus is a renowned Luxury retailer known for superior customer service.  To provide such service to our customers, Neiman Marcus operations group looks to develop processes to reach optimum operational efficiencies.  In our efforts to reach these goals, Neiman Marcus will be implementing an accuracy standard for all inbound shipments.  All inbound shipments must meet a 98% accuracy rate.

What is Accuracy?

Shipment accuracy is determined by comparing the electronic data (ASN) or paper invoice against the physical contents of a shipment.  Accuracy is validated down to the Store, Style, Color, Size, and Quantity level.  Validation of UPC and Suggested Retail are also audit points and will impact shipment accuracy.  Detail audits will be performed through our warehouse management system.  Vendors who participate in our Vendor Ticket and Pre-ticket programs will be eligible to promote through our audit process and become a “cross dock” vendor.  To learn more about “cross dock” opportunities click the following link:

Fast Track Program

This accuracy requirement will benefit both Neiman Marcus and its Vendors in reducing the supply chain with higher accuracy shipments.

Vendors will be receiving communication from Neiman Marcus when shipments fall below the 98% threshold.  Vendors will be able to view audit information (Store Audit Exception Report – SAE) down to the carton level on-line at NMG Claim Inquiry.  Please feel free to contact the Neiman Marcus Stores Vendor Compliance office with any questions.
